Subcomm Selection Camp [20 & 21 Sept]
The camp opening was woohoo! The ex main comm made us run up n down the stairs, do item layouts n water parade. It felt so much like early guides days tt for a moment, I was bout to shout "yes sir!!" Felt kinda zzz wen they were comparing with army. But understood their purpose behind all these.. To instill discipline.
Ther was this part one of the "sirs" stood bfore us n said with much force n challenge "This is a selection camp, we r choosing leaders tt can help the main comm. If u cant take it, tell us n we will let u go." It was then I got determined to survive till the end.
Btw, I got into HULK n our cheer was kinda LOL.. "HULK HULK HULK. Green man lau chae sai. POOoottt~"
Played Amazing race for 4 hours n during one of the station games, I sort of kissed the year 1 bfore me, I got shy n even more unable to play well, the situation repeated for another 2 times till I cannot take it n ran away. =X...
Another was Nightwalk, walking in pairs down Biz Sch level 5.. Mm, it was kinda no kick.. N nightwalks really test whether the guys r gentlemen.. Anw, afta tt was the less den 2 hours break to sleep. At tt point of time, quite a few couldnt take it anymore, 2 tt I know left..
Following the short break was water games (it was 4 in the morning..) Time past rather quickly, it was soon final clash. Did debriefing, took photos, breakfast n it was goodbye again..
Most of the pple around was from last year n they were asking bout Deb, Ling n Cher, my reply was standard idk cos its the real answer. Gg for an event tt 4 of us used to go tgt's sad n yet the best chance to wake up.
I wasnt lonely but at certain times of the games, I still wish for them to b around to experience the same ting. I wont n will not allow myself to miss them for the wrong reason. I was the least independent out of the 4, always lucky to have someone in the same grp n its time to change.
